Looking for the best coffee shops in Destin, Florida? I’ve got you covered. Cute coffee shops are kind of my thing. I love discovering new spots just as much as returning to my tried-and-true local favorites. As a Destin photographer, you’ll often find me tucked into a cozy café, editing photos between shoots with a cold brew by my side. Whether you’re craving a simple drip coffee made from the freshest beans in town or a sweet, seasonal latte, these are my go-to Destin coffee shops when I need a caffeine fix.

East Pass Coffee Co
East Pass Coffee Co is a locally owned café in Destin that offers amazing coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features traditional breakfast and lunch items with a creative twist. My personal favorites are the Harvest Bowl, Breakfast Sandwich, and Double Smash Burger. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything they make!
When it comes to coffee, my go-to order is the Sweet Cream Sunbum Cold Brew or Salted Honey Latte. I love that the coffee shop has cozy indoor seating but also a large grassy area with picnic tables outside—perfect for kids, pets, or just relaxing in the Florida sunshine (and parents, it’s fenced in so your toddlers can run around!).
What makes East Pass even more special to me is their community focus. They frequently partner with other Destin small businesses and entrepreneurs to host events like pop-up yoga classes, holiday markets, and Craft Club, making it a space where locals and visitors alike can connect and enjoy the Destin vibe.
Why visit: All-day menu, fenced outdoor seating, local events.
Best for: Casual brunch + coffee, work sessions, family visits.

Maas Coffee Roasters
Maas Coffee Roasters is one of the best spots in Destin if you appreciate high-quality, freshly roasted coffee. They roast their beans in-house weekly, and you can truly taste the difference in every cup. This is one of my favorite places to stop when I want an espresso-forward drink or cold brew. They also have an extensive selection of flavors and syrups, so you can create just about any cold foam or latte combination imaginable. My go-to order is a cold brew or iced americano with coconut cold foam.
The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it easy to settle in and stay a while, whether you want to get some work done, play a game, or just catch up with a friend. If you want to pair your coffee with a fresh croissant or pastry, Maas partners with a locally owned bakery to offer a case full of sweet and savory treats that are made from scratch.
Beyond the drinks, Maas does a great job of educating and connecting with the community. Keep an eye out for their Bean Rap events, where you can learn about the coffee roasting process, enjoy a French Press tasting of their different beans, and even purchase your favorites to take home.

Beignets and Brew
Located along Destin Harbor, this cute spot offers specialty coffee, New Orleans style beignets, outdoor seating, and stunning views of the water. Their expansive coffee menu includes everything from a classic americano to sweet frozen coffees topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. I personally love their iced Nutella latte. And pro tip: park at the top of the hill between the palm trees otherwise you’ll have to pay for parking. Beignets and Brew is the perfect place to enjoy a sweet treat as you relax on the patio or dock and watch the boats go by.

Causeway Coffee
Causeway Coffee is a stylish coffee shop in Destin that serves delicious sips and bites. The drink menu features classic coffee drinks, which can be customized with various syrups, milks, and cold foam. You’ll also find lotus energy drinks, affogato, and more. If you want to sample a few, order the monthly flight board! It features four of their seasonal creations. Hungry? Try one of their waffle pops, baked goods or toasts. Best of all, the owners of Causeway are passionate about supporting local and global communities in need. They donate the proceeds from every cup of coffee to ministries like Mission of Hope, so with every cup of coffee you enjoy, you are supporting missions around the world.
Why Visit: Creative seasonal drinks, rotating specialty menus, and a modern café atmosphere with a local feel.
Best For: Trying new flavors, meeting friends, and enjoying fun, seasonal coffee specials.

Camille’s
Camille’s is a sidewalk cafe located in the quaint Crystal Beach community that serves up coffee, Bloody Marys, breakfast tacos, sandwiches, smoothies and other mouthwatering menu items. You can enjoy them there or take them to the beach (which is right across the street). Their coffee drinks are made with locally roasted Destin Coffee. The coconut latte is my go-to. Maybe you’re sensing a pattern here… I clearly love coconut coffee drinks!
Why Visit: Casual, beach-adjacent café offering coffee, smoothies, and breakfast & lunch favorites in Crystal Beach.
Best For: Pre-beach coffee stops, quick breakfasts, and laid-back mornings near the water.
Sandos Beachside
Sandos Beachside is a relaxed, beachside spot in Destin where you can grab coffee just steps from the sand. Located along Scenic Highway 98, it’s one of my favorite places to stop when I want to grab coffee and go for a scenic stroll. Their menu includes coffee, espresso drinks, and delicious sandwiches, making it an easy stop before or after the beach. Plus, there’s a full bar upstairs offering craft cocktails!
Why Visit: Beachside location with Gulf views and a relaxed, coastal atmosphere.
Best For: Coffee with a view, beach mornings, casual stops, and visitors staying along Scenic 98.
The Palms Coffeehouse
Located within The Palms Resort and Conference Center, this on-site coffee shop in Destin offers plenty of comfortable seating, signature drinks, sweet treats and more. It’s a great place to get some work done, catch up with friends or get a coffee to go. I highly recommend the Salty Coconut drink! You don’t need to be a guest to go there, just park in the reserved restaurant spots in front of the resort and walk on in.
Why Visit: Relaxed, quieter coffee shop located inside The Palms of Destin Resort and open to the public.
Best For: Remote work, unwinding between activities, and a calm coffee break away from crowds.
Capriccio Cafe
Capriccio Cafe is a locally owned Italian cafe that specializes in gourmet coffee, pastries, crepes, sandwiches, and salads. Their coffee, meats, and cheeses are imported from Italy so you know you’re getting an authentic experience! This cozy spot is tucked away just before Holiday Isle.
Why Visit: Italian-inspired café serving espresso drinks, crepes, pastries, and light meals.
Best For: European-style coffee, brunch, and slowing down with a cozy café experience.
