How Aly Gray Is Building One of 30A’s Most Recognizable Fitness Brands

On any given morning along 30A, you might spot a group of women laughing through lunges on the beach, bright orange mats lined up on the white sand, music blasting as the sun rises over the Gulf. There’s a good chance that scene was created by Aly Gray, founder of FIT30A.

From luxury beach workouts and bachelorette wellness experiences to the launch of her brand-new studio, Chemical Fitness 30A, Aly is creating far more than fitness classes on the Emerald Coast. She is building a brand rooted in confidence, community, and connection while also becoming part of a growing wave of female entrepreneurs shaping the culture of 30A.

From Corporate Life to Fitness Entrepreneur

Originally from Dallas, Aly’s career path took her through Austin, Nashville, and Boston before she landed on the Emerald Coast.

While living in Boston, she worked a full-time corporate job and taught classes at Equinox, a prestigious luxury fitness brand. That experience changed everything. “I quickly fell in love with the energy of the community,” she says.

In 2019, Aly competed in her first bodybuilding competition and won both the Bikini and Figure divisions. Soon after, she left the corporate world behind to pursue fitness full time, teaching up to 30 classes a week across multiple studio locations before the pandemic shut them down. With so much uncertainty, Aly booked a one-way flight to visit her parents in Miramar Beach, Florida thinking the move would only be temporary. Instead, she quickly fell in love with the lifestyle, the community, and the opportunity to build something new along the Emerald Coast.

“I wanted to rebuild with purpose and bring that same passion and energy to a new community,” she says.

During that time, she launched Aly On Demand, an online fitness platform that still serves a global audience today. What started as a pivot became the foundation for everything that followed.

The Evolution of FIT30A

From there, Aly created FIT30A as a way to promote her local bootcamps, personal training sessions, and wellness offerings along 30A. At first, it was simply a local extension of her existing fitness platform, but it quickly became much bigger than she expected.

Vacation groups began reaching out to book private classes. Local businesses wanted to collaborate. Before long, FIT30A evolved into a wellness hub where both locals and visitors could discover curated fitness experiences designed specifically for the 30A lifestyle.

Today, 30AFIT has become a go-to for bachelorette parties, family trips, and brands looking for elevated wellness experiences. It offers luxury concierge fitness, community pop-up events, and meaningful partnerships with local businesses. The growth has been explosive.

“With over 110 bachelorette classes already booked in 2026, I’m building a team to expand FIT30A,” Aly says.

More Than Just a Workout: The “Hot Girl Sweat Club”

If you have seen FIT30A on Instagram, you probably recognize the energy immediately. The brand is bold, colorful, empowering, and intentionally fun. Aly refers to it as the “Hot Girl Sweat Club.”

But beneath the bright aesthetic is a much deeper philosophy about movement and wellness. She has always believed that when fitness is enjoyable, you’re far more likely to stay consistent. Movement should be fun and it’s not just about the physical transformation.

“It’s about the confidence, self-worth, and mental fortitude that fitness builds, especially for women,” she says. “That empowerment doesn’t stay in the gym. It carries into every other area of life.”

That mindset shapes every class she teaches. Her workouts are known for being challenging while still feeling approachable and encouraging. She will push you, but in a way that makes you feel capable, not intimidated.

A Must for Bachelorette Parties on 30A

Bachelorette fitness classes on 30A have exploded in popularity over the past year, and Aly believes it reflects a larger cultural shift toward wellness-focused celebrations.

“I truly believe people are taking better care of their bodies, and ‘healthy’ has become its own kind of trend in the best way,” she says.

While there are plenty of fitness classes along 30A, Aly says FIT30A stands apart because of how intentional the experience feels from start to finish.

Imagine stepping onto the beach with your closest friends to find your favorite artist already playing through the speakers (because Aly made note of it during your booking three months ago). The bride immediately spots her mat because there is a personalized keepsake waiting for her.

Every class is customized to the group, from the workout style to the personalized touches throughout the experience. Bright orange mats line the beach. Ice-cold lavender towels wait at the end of class. Group photos, optional mimosas, and “Hot Girl Sweat Club” energy help turn the class into one of the most memorable parts of the trip.

“It’s a full turnkey experience,” Aly says. “We offer more than a workout. We create an experience. I’ve been told time and time again that FIT30A classes end up being a highlight of the trip. We set the tone for the weekend and promise to kick things off on a high note for our bride tribes!”

Her New Studio: Chemical Fitness 30A

As FIT30A continued growing, Aly found herself constantly traveling across the Emerald Coast for private clients and classes. She was teaching on beaches, in condos, at gyms, and everywhere in between Panama City Beach and Freeport. Eventually, the nonstop driving started to wear on her and she started dreaming about having a home base.

That dream became Chemical Fitness 30A. The studio combines Aly’s signature energy with a more structured training environment, offering HIIT, mat Pilates, sculpt classes, and guided strength and conditioning workouts for all fitness levels. And staying true to her brand, they have fun names like “Peach, Please!” and “Armed & Dangerous.”

One thing she wants newcomers to know is that the classes are designed to be accessible. They are challenging, but always scalable, so she can meet you where you are.

Unlike traditional gyms, Chemical Fitness focuses on functional movement, sustainability, and variety. There aren’t intimidating rows of heavy machinery, barbells or repetitive workouts. Instead, classes blend functional fitness, bodybuilding, and strength and conditioning to create workouts that challenge you, help you feel stronger, and are genuinely fun.

“Our goal is to make the hour you spend with us the best hour of your day,” Aly says.

The Meaning Behind Chemical Fitness

The name “Chemical Fitness” comes from the science behind exercise itself.

“When you work out, your body releases happy chemicals like dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins,” Aly explains. Those chemicals improve mood, reduce stress, and create the energized feeling many people experience after a workout. The “C” in the studio’s logo even includes a subtle nod to dopamine chemistry. For Aly, it perfectly represents the environment she wants to create through fitness.

The Discipline Behind the Success

Alongside building two businesses, Aly has also spent years pursuing competitive bodybuilding.

After winning her first competition in 2019, the pandemic paused her momentum until she returned to the stage in 2023. Since then, she has competed in seven shows and earned her IFBB Bikini Pro card at Nationals in Dallas in December 2025.

One of the most rewarding parts of the journey has been realizing how much her story inspires other people.

“I don’t live life trying to be an influencer. I just try to live in a way that others might find inspiring through my everyday choices, the way I build my business, and the way I show up consistently. My goal is to help others fall in love with fitness and the benefits that come with a healthy lifestyle.”

While you might think all of this work would take energy away from her businesses, Aly says the discipline required for bodybuilding prep actually strengthens every area of her life and business.

“That structure keeps me organized. I spend less time thinking about what to eat or how to train because I already have a plan. I just execute. When I’m locked in, everything around me tends to perform better.”

Life Along 30A

While Aly doesn’t have many “sit still” beach days with her schedule, she stays motivated to get her work done so she can go chase some sunshine. When she is not teaching or training clients, she loves taking sunset walks on the beach with a podcast playing in her headphones.

“What keeps me in shape isn’t just the ‘summer’s coming’ mindset,” she says. “It’s everything around me. My environment, my routine, my purpose.”

But beyond the beaches and beautiful scenery, Aly says what she loves most about this area is the entrepreneurial spirit and being surrounded by strong, hard-working women building businesses of their own along the Emerald Coast.

“This is the most supportive and entrepreneurial place I’ve ever lived,” she says. “People genuinely want to connect, collaborate, and grow together.”

Aly’s 30A Hot Spots

Aly works with a lot of visitors, so you know she’s full of great 30A recommendations! Her idea of the perfect girls’ day after a FIT30A class starts with rooftop brunch at Pescado followed by a few hours by the beach. After that, she recommends biking down 30A, stopping at Fonville Press for a coffee or cocktail then Seaside, Florida for a food truck picnic and a little shopping.

From there, head to Grayton Beach where you can shop at Lululemon and swing through Chiringo for shrimp tacos and a game of cornhole. After a full day on the bikes, head back to your vacation rental for an easy dinner, such as Mr. Hibachi or a private chef like Kyle from Swiftly Catered. They bring the dining experience to you!

Still have energy and want to dance and sing? Then it’s off to AJ’s Seafood & Oyster Bar to karaoke the night away.

Here are a few more 30A local favorites that you can add to your itinerary:

While she enjoys all that 30A has to offer, she prefers slowing down with fresh air and sunshine rather than sitting down at a restaurant. You’re more likely to find her grabbing peel-and-eat shrimp or a crab cake with a salad from Modica Market in Seaside, Florida and taking it to the grass for a picnic with her shoes off.

Building Something Bigger

Whether it is a bride tribe sweating through a beach workout, a local client discovering strength they did not know they had, or someone simply finding joy in movement again, Aly’s impact reaches far beyond the hour spent in class. She has built a business rooted in energy, empowerment, and genuine connection. And judging by the momentum behind both FIT30A and Chemical Fitness, she is only getting started.

Upcoming Events

Don’t miss the grand opening of Chemical Fitness 30A! There will be a ribbon cutting event on June 2 from 3pm to 5pm, followed by its grand opening celebration on June 6 from 8am to Noon.
