Whether you’re looking for fresh produce, homemade salsa, or other artisan goods, you’ll find multiple farmers markets near Destin throughout the week. There are a variety of vendors who provide everything from local honey and meats to artisan breads and nut butters. Even if you don’t need anything in particular, it’s always fun to stroll around and support small businesses. Here are a few farmers markets in Destin and on 30A:
Destin Community Farmers Market
The Destin Community Farmers Market takes place on Sundays from 9am to 2pm in the Bealls parking lot (near Walmart). The vision behind this market was to create a venue where locals, small businesses and visitors can come together to enjoy fresh, locally sourced produce and crafts. Each week you’ll find about 35 vendors selling baked goods, beverages, meats, honey, cheeses, soaps, candles, and more. I’ve picked up some nut butters from Butters But Better here (highly recommend the brownie batter cashew butter!).
Destin Commons Market
The Destin Commons Market happens on the last Sunday of every month from 11am to 4:30pm. There is a great selection of vendors selling crafted jewelry, gift items, fresh produce, seasonal flowers, baked goods, gourmet popcorn, local art, and more. Located near The Lawn and playground at Destin Commons, it’s a great way to spend the afternoon with your family. Parents can shop while your little ones play!
Grand Boulevard Farmers Market
Located in the Grand Park, the Grand Boulevard Farmers Market is set up on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. You’ll discover organic sun care, fresh fruits and vegetables, hand-crafted granola, fresh flowers, and more. While you’re there, you can also check out the retailers and restaurants that Grand Boulevard has to offer.
Seaside Farmers Market
The Seaside Farmers Market takes place Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. Set up beneath the picturesque palms of Central Square, this market allows our community to learn about seasonality and sustainable farming practices by directly getting to know the people who grow their food. There’s typically live music as well, so it’s a fun atmosphere.
30A Farmers Market at Rosemary Beach
Located on the gorgeous greens of Barrett Square, 30A Farmers Market at Rosemary Beach its a pretty place to stroll around and check out the various vendors. It’s open Sundays from 9am to 1pm and features local vendors selling everything from micro-greens and artisan bread to sweet treats and ready-to-eat crab cakes.
