The annual Tequila & Taco Fest in Sandestin, Florida is one fiesta you don’t want to miss! Located at the scenic Village of Baytowne Wharf, this premier event features unlimited tacos and tequila, plus a lively atmosphere with a strolling Mariachi band, vibrant decor, guests dressed in festive attire, live DJ and plenty of Florida sunshine. The 2025 event will take place May 8 – 11 with the main festival happening on Saturday, May 10 from 1pm to 4pm (or enter early at Noon with a VIP ticket). With tacos from over 25 of the area’s best restaurants and food trucks, you’re guaranteed to leave with a full belly. These aren’t simple street tacos either – the hearty tacos feature a variety of proteins and toppings. Since the vendors are all vying for the title of “Best Taco on The Emerald Coast” (and a first place prize of $2,500), they really go all out when it comes to flavor and creativity. From ahi tuna and fried shrimp to locally caught fish and classic ground beef, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Some of the 2025 taco vendors include The Perfect Pig, Ruby Slipper, Slick Lips, Café Nola, LaCo and many more.
While “Taco Only” tickets are an option, the General Admission tickets include unlimited drinks. You can sample tequilas, margaritas, and Mexican beers. Think beyond a simple “house” margarita – these creative concoctions feature unique flavors, sugared or salted rims, dry ice, and other unique ingredients. There’s also a competition for Best Margarita! Prefer a straight shot? There will be pours of everything from Blancos and Reposados to Anejos and Mezcals. You might just discover your new favorite sipping tequila!
If you have little amigos tagging along, there are family-friendly events such as face painting, a tortilla tossing contest, and Chihuahua Beauty Contest. The Village of Baytowne Wharf also has a fun playground, adventure zone, carousel and more activities kids will love.
